Light Crank

The interactive poster is comprised of a crank and a screen; when you spin the crank the poster changes accordingly. The poster has a city scene that is dimmed and a night sky that is lit up.

Once the crank is spun, the city lights up and gradually the stars dim down. The faster the crank is spun the quicker the city lights up and when you strop spinning the city goes back to being dark.

This interactive poster is intended to make a statement on light pollution as it is an issue that does not receive the attention it deserves. A message will appear on the screen once the city is completely lit. The message remains on the screen for 11 seconds which is enough time for the viewer to read the message and the poster to reset back to its original display.
