Sharjah Light Festival

"A journey from Sharjah to America" is a project completed with the aid of the American University of Sharjah’s multimedia students.

As a multimedia student, when the opportunity presented itself to work with the Sharjah Light Festival team (SLF) and Nomada studios, the only logical answer was to accept the offer. Each student had to design an animation for the AUS main building facade. The theme was a journey from Sharjah to America and students were asked to conduct their research on the given cities and states. From there, we had to integrate their most famous landmarks and unique culture into the design of the facade.

I chose Chicago as the city to design and I aimed to highlight the jazz scene in this city. It was truly a rewarding feeling seeing your design being displayed on a building right before your eyes.
